RICEC means Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, a separate venue from Riyadh Front. Egypt International Exhibition Center is also distinct from Cairo International Convention Center. Use full venue names when booking. In Morocco, the organiser specifies Mohammed VI Exhibition Park in El Jadida, even where marketing uses Casablanca to describe the wider market.
The table uses The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia and its direct official site; the current page also displays Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia. Match the contracting entity and edition name in your booking documents.
Which exhibition type fits your business?
Food products, ingredients and distribution
For a producer or exporter, define the intended channel: distributor, retail chain, manufacturer using ingredients or restaurant operator. Each buyer asks different questions. A purchaser needs to understand packaging, available quantities, shelf life, storage conditions and supply capabilities. An ingredient user also needs technical specifications that can be compared with production requirements.
Review the exhibitor list and buyer programme before choosing a destination. A suitable category in the event description does not guarantee access to a particular buyer or automatic acceptance into a hosted programme. Prepare a concise product and target-market introduction, then ask about acceptance, contact arrangements and service conditions before budgeting around them.
Agriculture, processing and packaging
Agricultural events serve farming, equipment, inputs and mechanisation. Processing and packaging shows focus on production lines, ingredients, containers and operating solutions. A project may need both, but purchasing responsibilities and comparison criteria differ. Define the problem, such as filling-line capacity, product cooling or farm operation, then identify the event bringing together relevant suppliers.
Ask what a proposal includes: equipment, accessories, installation, training or maintenance. Compare against actual operating conditions rather than the machine's appearance on the stand. When visiting the food exhibitions Middle East 2027 shortlist with technical colleagues, allocate questions before travel so that findings can support a purchasing decision.
Hospitality, restaurants and hotels
Hospitality exhibitions focus on operations and equipment, including kitchens, service, storage and guest experience. Their audience does not always match a show for exporting packaged food or selling crops. Choose them when the objective is to meet operators, equipment distributors or service suppliers relevant to a restaurant, café or hotel project, then establish whether the intended visitor groups are represented.
If a project combines kitchen equipment with product sourcing, separate those streams in the meeting diary. Prepare one equipment list and another food list, with a follow-up owner for each. This makes it easier to compare operating requirements and contracts without confusing initial equipment costs with recurring purchases throughout the year.
Samples: establish permission and intended use
Do not treat tasting products in the same way as machinery that will be displayed and returned. Record sample type, quantity, ingredients, packaging and storage conditions, and whether it will be distributed, consumed or re-exported. Coordinate with the organiser, responsible authority and importer or broker for the destination and product. Carrying goods in luggage does not automatically remove entry procedures.
In Saudi Arabia, consult the SFDA exhibition-products guide to establish the applicable requirements. Use the exhibit shipping and ATA Carnet guide to distinguish equipment being re-exported from materials that will be consumed or distributed. Also ask about tasting permission, refrigeration, power and waste handling before ordering services under the venue and edition's rules.
2027 editions to monitor
The following options need an organiser-confirmed 2027 date before they become travel commitments. Each link lets you follow the edition announcement; inclusion here does not confirm a 2027 date or venue.
- FoodTech Saudi: the 2027 dates are not consistently confirmed; the page mixes December 2026 and 2027. Await organiser clarification before treating it as a dated entry.
- HORECA Jordan for hospitality and food-service equipment in the Jordanian market.
- Oman Agrofood for agriculture and food in Oman.
- HORECA Kuwait for hospitality equipment and services.
For other markets, explore Tunisia events and follow the organiser's source for each suitable edition. Record your target market and buyer category, and update the watchlist when the organiser announces the edition.
Ramadan and Eid al-Adha in the travel plan
For regional planning, the Umm al-Qura calendar places Ramadan 1448 between 8 February and 8 March 2027, and the first day of Eid al-Adha on 16 May 2027. Official announcements in the destination determine local observance. Coordinate importer and broker appointments, sample-delivery days and the availability of companies you will visit outside the exhibition.
Turn the selection into a commercial plan
Define the trip's main objective: a suitable distributor, a supplier comparison or feedback from a target sector on a new product. Build a short company list and record why each prospect fits. Account for travel, samples, shipping, services and team time against the ability to follow up after returning. A convenient date is insufficient if the business cannot supply or respond to technical enquiries.
Arrange appointments through permitted channels while respecting communication preferences. Prepare a short file covering the product, packaging, specifications and contact details. After each meeting, record the other party's request and agreed next action. The pre-show meeting plan helps distribute preparation and follow-up responsibilities across the team.
